Valtech is looking for a new Engagement Manager. Could it be you?
So what's an Engagement Manager to do, anyway? Well the role looks a lot like the Account Manager role you might find in other agencies, but we prefer the term "engagement" to "account". Not that we're trying to be fussy or anything, but we think it's important that you think of our customers as people rather than accounts. "To engage" means to capture and keep someone's attention and interest. And that's exactly what we want you to do with our customers.
So as an Engagement Manager for Valtech, your day will look something like this:
Your job is to know your customers' business. You know their market, their competitors and you can suggest projects that can help them.
You meet with your customers on a regular basis. You let them know how their projects are going, and you find out what they expect from us.
Since you will be responsible for a number of customers, you need to be on top of them and how they are developing. You'll look at what they do and what we do and see how we can help them.
You'll spend the bulk of your time managing your clients, as well as advising them and heading up any projects related to their business.
Here's what we expect from you:
Since your primary duty will be to "engage" your customers, you have to like to work with people. You need to be outgoing, play well with others and be really good at listening to what your customers are, and are not saying.
Ambition is good. Perfectionism is good. And if you have both, it's even better.
You've had a similar position for the last couple of years, either in another agency or a similar digital company.
You're used to playing with the big boys [and girls]. You can hold your own and get your point across, and you know how to navigate the wonderfully complex corporate world.
It's always good to know what you're selling, so if you are familiar with content management systems, digital applications and platforms and the rest of our digital arsenal, we'll consider that a plus.
And because it can't really be emphasized enough, you need to know how our clients work and think. You need to understand their environment, speak to them in a language they can understand and do what's best for them and us.

We all get 6% in company paid pension scheme contribution (after 6 months of employment). We all share the same health insurance. We are all subject to the same non-solicitation clause. For this role, the base salary is estimated between DKK 35.000 - 40.000 per month dependent on match, qualifications and experience.
